Five years after the dead began to come back and attack the living, the cities are gone, civilization has fallen and humans have fallen from the top of the food chain. Some have barricaded themselves for safety, some wander the deserted roads, some barely cling to a life filled with fear, and some have tried to rebuild a kind of pastoral life.  The dead still hunt, still search, and some are evolving.
